  1. Active components

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small files which your browser creates automatically and which are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or other) if and when you visit our website. The cookies store information which is generated in each case in connection with the specifically used device.

In the first place the use of cookies helps you to use our website with greater convenience. For example, we employ so-called session cookies to establish that you have visited particular pages of our website before. These cookies are automatically deleted when you leave the page. We also use temporary cookies, which are stored on your device for a specific and pre-determined time, to make our website as user-friendly as possible. If you visit our website again in order to avail yourself of our services, the cookie automatically recognises that you have visited us before and stores the entries and settings you have made, so that you do not have to repeat them every time.

The information stored in the cookies are not used by us to identify you, and it is not combined with other personal data that have been stored by us.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can however configure your browser in such a way that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that you always have visual notification before a new cookie is placed.

We have also integrated Google Maps API, a map service of Google Inc. („Google“), in the website for the presentation of an interactive map. If and when you use the Google Maps service, information on the use of this website, including your IP address, can be transmitted to a Google server in the USA or stored there. The possibility cannot be ruled out that Google may use the data it has received to identify at least some of the users. It would also be possible for personal data to be used by Google for other purposes. It is possible for you to deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent the transfer of data by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. You will then not be able to use the map display.

  1. Security

We implement technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data you have provided to us against accidental or intentional tampering, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. In doing so we adhere to standards and improve our measures in line with technological advances. We must nevertheless point out that when data are transmitted on the internet they cannot, given the present state of technology, be given total protection.
